I'm often asked how best to utilize JV Notify Pro ... particularly by Newbies. I'll try to break it down into bite size pieces. Wink

First off, the basic purpose of JV Notify Pro as it exists now (substantial changes and upgrades will be made in 2009 ... stay tuned!) is to provide a community for JV minded Marketers of all niches and levels of experience to interact, network, and otherwise raise each others game by gaining knowledge and building relationships through discussion and participation. The ongoing goal is for all of us to enjoy ever increasing mutual success via the aforementioned.

OK ... a sensible place to start things off is with:

JV Notify Pro Rules And Welcome Message.

Self explanatory - Community rules and welcome message.

Once you understand what you can and can't do, why not ...

INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE ...

Once again, pretty self explanatory ... just remember the post is to introduce YOU, not your JV proposals. Once you've introduced yourself, feel free to post in either the JV Notify Pro Partner JV Offers And Profiles or JV Notify Pro Partner Co-Promotion Proposal Announcements ... depending on which of the 2 categories best suits what you have to offer.

OK ... once you've read the rules, introduced yourself, and posted your JV/Co Promotion proposals and profiles ... you're ready for Q&A in the General Joint Venture Discussion area ... this is the place where all the ongoing interaction occurs. Post a question ... respond with an answer, or just your opinion. No self promotional or affiliate links in content.

Also ... stay away from posting subjects like "I'm New Here!" or "Want To Learn IM But Don't Know Where To Start!" ... that triggers a red flag with experienced partners, who are here to help answer specific questions ... not build your business for you.

Post Specific Questions, and use keywords in your subject that give an idea of what your post is about ... we're here to help each other succeed, not deliver magic bullets. Search the Archives before asking basic questions, then focus on specifics in your queries.

Whether you are new or not, I recommend searching the General Discussion archives and the Submit Your Joint Venture Marketing Articles category. We're always looking for helpful article authors, as well ... just be sure that they are heavy in content, and not simply veiled ad promos. Wink

It goes without saying that our twice a week Premium JV Notify Pro mailing is extremely popular, offering a Premium JV invitation from a mix of active JVNP partners and popular, ground floor JV offers that I've personally negotiated for you ... Buzz Builder promos regarding still fresh current or past JV invites, and more ... mailed out to nearly 4,500 JVNP partners at this time, archived in our JV Notify Pro Update Announcements And Archives, as well as on the official JV Notify Pro JV Announcement Blog ... and posted on a number of social bookmarking sites likeTwitter, Facebook, MySpace, FriendFeed, Squidoo, and more.

To see if and how you qualify for a Premium JV mailing spot, see JV Notify Pro Premium Joint Venture Announcement Info

If you NEED JV Related Services ... or PROVIDE JV Related Services, check out the READ FIRST intro posts on both boards ... and either post or reply as it applies.

JV Marketing Brainstorm Chat will be pulled out of the moth balls in the next couple of weeks ... Charles Kirkland will have my head if I continue my lack of follow through on this, so I promise to oblige. Wink

I thought my take on The Warrior Forum WSO ... JV Notify Pro Beta Brainstorming and Bargains, would interest enough merchants wishing to test new projects, gain testimonials, and make a few short sales in lieu of special partner only pricing ... while attracting a subsequent number of purchasing partners keen on testing new products at reduced cost ... perhaps even resulting in new JV relationships, but I guess I was wrong. It didn't get much action. I may try mentioning 'JVNPSO's in future mailings to see if that picks things up ... keep your eyes peeled. Wink

Well ... that's pretty much how to make your way around JVNP. Questions? Feel free to ask away. Wink

Best,

Mike

PS.

A couple quick tips ... make sure you set up a sig file. Self promotion is not allowed in the content of your posts in the main discussion area, but you are allowed to post non affiliate self promos in your sig file. You may even want to have it point to your profile or premium JV request. Also ... premium JV merchants, you have the ability to follow up your archived promotion with updates and answers to partner questions ... why are so many of you not utilizing it? Those that have register many more page views ... a simple follow up post or two makes a difference.

That's All Folks!

Hi Mike,

I came across some of your posts on WF.  In one of the posts you gave a list of great JVs but I'm not sure what to do with the list... these guys are obviously busy so I don't feel comfortable contacting them and asking them to do a JV with me and my product... is there some kind of process I should do first?

As you can see, im really just a noob haha

Steven Bergeron here.  Full-blooded Cajun.   Wink

I'm new to network marketing and am looking to get into affiliate marketing.  I'm the type of guy that wants to make sure ALL the ducks are lined up before pulling the trigger, though.  Unfortunately, this usually results in me being the "Ready, aim, aim, aim, aim..." type of guy.

I look forward to meeting and interacting with you all.  Maybe I'll even give you a gumbo recipe so you can eat well while earning money.   Cheesy

Sorry folks, I'm kinda confused and overwhelmed by the huge amount of information found in this forum. Totally new to JV but have been doing IM for more than half a year already.

So how do I get started if I already have a product in hand?

1. Register my product in Clickbank first before looking for JV here?

2.
a. Post my JV project in either the "JV Notify Pro Partner JV Offers And Profiles" or "JV Notify Pro Partner Co-Promotion Proposal Announcements"?

OR OR OR OR OR OR OR OR OR OR OR OR

b. Qualify for "Premium JV Notify Pro Promotion"?

Hey, Jack.

The process is the same whether you have a product or not, honestly.

The main idea is to interact within the community to gain exposure, credibility and a rapport with your fellow partners ... it's an ongoing process.

As I explain in the initial post, you introduce yourself ... a little bio and background so we can get an idea what you are about as an individual, and a post in the JV profile or co promotion area to promote whatever you currently have going on that would be mutually beneficial to you and potential partners. Not necessarily to recruit potential endorsed mailing partners, but a JV of any kind.

As far as premium mailings, I have to think of the entire community when considering who I allow in queue for this ... it only makes sense if you are not a well know Marketer that you should take the time to interact with and support other partners before considering asking for a mailing slot to get the most out of it.

To give you an example of how popular premium mailings are, all spots are booked until the 3rd week of June at this time ... and 95% of the mailings are for either partners that have supported multiple partner launches successfully, have been active in the community, or offer a high profile, popular closed promotion exclusive to JVNP partners. So ... one way or another, you have to pay your dues before getting a premium mailing.

So ... with that said, I'd post your offer in the JV profile category, link to it in your sig. file ... and participate in the community. Premium mailings are not the only way to attract JV partners ... the aforementioned works pretty well, too.

Cheers ... and Happy Mothers Day,

Mike

Hi Mike:

Thanks for fixing my problem with logging in.  I have read, understand and look forwarded to further communication.  It will be awhile before I will be looking for a JV but Chris Freville, my mentor, assures me I will reach that stage someday.  In the meantime is there anything I can offer to assist you.  Thanks again, Carl Mortimer

I'm hoping someone has some good ideas for me, because for some silly reason I couldn't even get my blog working today, let alone a JV!!!

Hi everyone, I am new here and am introducing myself to you as requested.  I  have been in the computer field for over 30 years but only working in the IM field since 2004 on the Internet.

I am glad I found this site, I have tried one JV deal in the past that did not work out well at all and hence that left a sour taste in my mouth for them.  I know I need to get passed that and try again.   That was a few years ago and it is time to get over it!

It looks like there is a lot to soak in here.   That is what I will be working on at first, then I hope to get my feet wet with some deals once things settle in for me.

Happy and profitable joint venturing to you all. Smiley

Hi guy's and gal's,

I am new to all this and looking forward to learning the ropes.

I am not sure where to start so I guess the best thing to do is read and absorb.

Regards,
Bob.

Hi Everyone - It's nice to be surrounded with like minded online and offline entrepreneurs - and I have purchased many of your offers in the past.  I'm here to learn and, hopefully, assist many of you as you launch new and exciting products.  Right now I'm focused on building a targeted opt-in list, and getting ideas and great products through this forum.   I also know enough to be dangerous using Photoshop and building websites.  It's a pleasure to be here.  Wink

Hi Mike,

It's nice to have here and I hope I can share with you guys together.

It's kinda late here in the PHILIPPINES  so I'll come back tomorrow and read more on this forum and formally introduce myself.
